U.S. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick recently visited Fraser Optics in Trevose. Established 47 years ago, Fraser Optics is a Veteran-owned small business that manufactures gyro-stabilized binoculars and other electro-optical devices for the US military and commercial customers. During his tour, he viewed Fraser’s current line of products and was briefed on some of the innovative new technologies being developed by the company.
Rep. Fitzpatrick met with Sean Danowski, the CEO of Fraser Optics and a former US Navy F/A-18 pilot and TOPGUN instructor. They discussed opportunities for expanding sales of their current flagship product, the M25A1 stabilized binocular being sold to the US Army, to customers in other departments of the US government. Additionally, Rep. Fitzpatrick was briefed on two other contracts that the company has; to supply stabilized camera systems for tethered aerostats owned by the Department of Homeland Security, and to develop a handheld next-generation targeting system for the U.S. Marine Corps.
